INTRODUCTION

The management of BahujanHitayJagatShikshanSanstha has taken a step to start this Jagat Arts, Commerce and IndirabenHariharbhai Patel Science College, Goregaon in such a rural area with graduate programme affiliated to R.T.M. Nagpur University Nagpur.The separate science faculty started in the opening year 1992. The Zoology department came into existence in the same year. Dr. B. B. Parshuramkar took charge as head of the department in 1992. Dr. W.J. Meshram joins this department from 2000 as assistant professor, Mr. M. B. Choudhari join as CHB lecturer from 2003 and Mr. B. W. Meshram joint to department as laboratory attendant from 1994.
The department had UG course with a single group consist of Chemistry, Botany & Zoology.
